Chris is a Senior News Writer for Collider. He can be found in an IMAX screen, with his eyes watering and his ears bleeding for his own pleasure. He joined the news team in 2022 and accidentally fell upwards into a senior position despite his best efforts.
For reasons unknown, he enjoys analyzing box office receipts, giant sharks, and has become known as the go-to man for all things Bosch, Mission: Impossible and Christopher Nolan in Collider’s news division. Recently, he found himself yeehawing along to the Dutton saga on the Yellowstone Ranch.
He is proficient in sarcasm, wit, Photoshop and working unfeasibly long hours. Amongst his passions sit the likes of the history of the Walt Disney Company, the construction of theme parks, steam trains and binge-watching Gilmore Girls with a coffee that is just hot enough to scald him.
His obsession with the Apple TV+ series Silo is the subject of mockery within the Senior News channel, where his feelings about Taylor Sheridan’s work are enough to make his fellow writers roll their eyes.

Hiring a good lawyer is normally fairly high on the list of priorities when you’re running a criminal empire, but **Helen Mirren**‘s Maeve Harrigan has never been particularly interested in doing things the normal way. The Harrigan family is already fighting for survival in the second season of MobLand, and Collider can exclusively reveal a new look at what happens next.
Collider is delighted to exclusively debut a sneak peek from MobLand Season 2, Episode 3, ahead of its premiere on Paramount+ on Friday, October 2. The footage features Maeve and Pierce Brosnan’s Conrad Harrigan sitting down with a group of lawyers offering to represent the family. The attorneys may have arrived expecting to discuss legal strategy, but Maeve has considerably different priorities in mind.
The scene comes as the Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy), their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer,’ must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify. As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.
Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.
You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.
The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.
You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.
Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.
The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Hardy returns as Harry alongside Brosnan (GoldenEye) as Conrad Harrigan and Mirren (The Queen) as Maeve Harrigan. The cast also includes **Paddy Considine **(House of the Dragon), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Lara Pulver (Sherlock), Anson Boon (Pistol), Mandeep Dhillon (After Life), Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy), Johnny Flynn (Ripley), Ophelia Lovibond (Minx), Janet McTeer (Ozark), and **Toby Jones **(Captain America: The First Avenger).
Thankfully for us, there was no truth to the reports that Hardy had been dismissed from the series following spurious reports of clashes with showrunner Jez Butterworth. Speaking on the speculation at the London premiere of MobLand Season 2, Brosnan dismissed the controversy surrounding his co-star as a “storm in a teacup” and added that nothing that went on had affected the cast or their ability to work together:
“Oh my God, it was a storm in a teacup, really. I love the dude. I love Tom Hardy. I’m a massive fan of the man’s work. Truly. We are rock solid as a company, as a family. Everyone shows up for work, and everybody’s just there on the spot. It moves very fast so it’s not like we go out and socialize and go to the pub or anything like that.”
MobLand Season 2, Episode 3 premieres globally on Paramount+ on Friday, October 2.
