‘Rocky’ Officially Returns With a Brand-New 50th Anniversary Release [Exclusive]

While he’s not expected to put up much of a fight, Balboa’s determined to go the distance, with the help of cantankerous trainer Mickey (Burgess Meredith), his best friend Paulie (Burt Young), and his new girlfriend Adrian (Talia Shire). The movie became a surprise hit and won three Oscars, including Best Picture; it also spawned a host of sequels and rocketed Stallone to superstardom.

The Fine Art of Rocky is penned by John Rivoli, the official artist for MGM’s *Rocky *franchise. The book, which comes from Insight Editions, features art inspired by all five movies of the original *Rocky *series. It also features an all-new introduction written by Stallone. It will be available in both a standard edition and an exclusive deluxe edition limited to 300 individually numbered copies; the limited edition will be released in a bespoke clamshell box and will be personally signed by Rivoli. It will also come with an exclusive cover and four exclusive 16-by-20 Rivoli prints. Both standard and limited editions can be pre-ordered now, and will be available in stores this October.
