Chris is a Senior News Writer for Collider. He can be found in an IMAX screen, with his eyes watering and his ears bleeding for his own pleasure. He joined the news team in 2022 and accidentally fell upwards into a senior position despite his best efforts.
For reasons unknown, he enjoys analyzing box office receipts, giant sharks, and has become known as the go-to man for all things Bosch, Mission: Impossible and Christopher Nolan in Collider’s news division. Recently, he found himself yeehawing along to the Dutton saga on the Yellowstone Ranch.
He is proficient in sarcasm, wit, Photoshop and working unfeasibly long hours. Amongst his passions sit the likes of the history of the Walt Disney Company, the construction of theme parks, steam trains and binge-watching Gilmore Girls with a coffee that is just hot enough to scald him.
His obsession with the Apple TV+ series Silo is the subject of mockery within the Senior News channel, where his feelings about Taylor Sheridan’s work are enough to make his fellow writers roll their eyes.

Looks like we’re once again heading into the unknown. Into the unknown. Into the unknoooowwwnnnn! Ahem, apologies dear readers, we got excited for a moment. After years of feverish speculation, Disney has finally dropped the first major details for Frozen 3 at tonight’s showcase at D23 in California.
It’s been nearly eight years since Elsa and Anna last ventured into the unknown, but we’re finally beginning to discover where they’re heading next, having already dramatically expanded the Arendelle mythology, managed to ride across the ocean, answering some of the biggest questions about Elsa’s powers while leaving plenty more behind. Well, it sounds like some questions may be answered but even more will be left in their wake.
Kristen Bell (The Good Place) returns as Anna, while Idina Menzel (Wicked) is back as Elsa, **Jonathan Groff **(Mindhunter) reprises his role as Kristoff, and Josh Gad (Beauty and the Beast) once again voices Olaf. Bell was back at Walt Disney Animation Studios recording for the sequel this week, while Gad began recording his material earlier this year.
There’s love in the air in Arendelle this time around as Anna and Kristoff prepare for their wedding and honeymoon. Even Olaf is getting in on the act, with a new love interest called Samantha. Gad even sang a ballad about her on stage, while Bell and Menzel introduced the presentation by singing ‘Frozen Heart’. We see an aurora in the sky, a snowflake falls into the frame and we follow it into a field outside Arendelle. It becomes a block of ice and nearly hits Elsa, while the sisters’ dresses are exquisite at the ceremony. Finally, we see a new witch, clad in black and it sure sounds like Greta Lee.
Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.
You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.
The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.
You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.
Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.
The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Frozen 3 co-director **Jennifer Lee **had actually been excited about the direction of the story long before audiences knew what it was. Discussing the project back in 2023, she revealed that working with the creative team had left her “blown away.”
“Every morning last week they carved out space for me to work with the creative team on it, and I am blown away and I am so excited.”
Gad also felt that the film might reach new heights for the franchise. “It’s the funniest of the three movies I’ve ever recorded,” Gad said while appearing on Good Morning America in June, adding that there are “some unbelievable developments” coming in the sequel.
Meanwhile, the two individuals most responsible for ruining your life if you have young children are also pretty excited about it. Songwriter Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who is returning alongside Robert Lopez after creating songs including “Let It Go” and “Into the Unknown,” previously told Collider that Disney gave the pair an early indication of what was being planned:
“They told us, the day of, and a little bit about what they’re thinking. It got us very excited.”
Frozen 3 will be released in theaters on November 24, 2027. Frozen 4 is also in development.
