Three weeks into its global box-office run and despite losing IMAX screens to Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the epic hit The Odyssey has now passed the coveted $1 billion mark worldwide. It has also emerged as the highest-grossing film of director Christopher Nolan’s illustrious career. Produced on a reported budget of $250 million, The Odyssey was touted as Nolan’s most ambitious project yet, having been shot entirely on IMAX film.
