It’s been over a decade since the release of Batman: Arkham Knight, and most fans are no longer sitting around with bated breath for anything related to the game to rear its head once more. The *Arkham *franchise hasn’t gone completely dormant, with two different *Arkham *VR adventures released in the meantime, but *Arkham Knight *has largely been relegated to a tucked-away spot in the back catalog.
Surprisingly, however, the *Arkham Knight *name has popped up in a product planned for next year. It might not be as exciting as a new game would be, but it could still be a nice treat for fans of the iconic title.
LEGO is apparently planning to release an *Arkham Knight *Batmobile set in January 2027, as reported by LEGO leak aggregator Brick Tap News on X. Under the set number 67009, the *Arkham Knight *Batmobile will tentatively retail for $30, although LEGO prices changing before release has become increasingly common in recent years.
The $30 price point should put the new Batmobile in scale with plenty of smaller-scale LEGO Batmobiles in recent years, like the currently available options based on The Batman, Batman & Robin, and Batman v Superman. For a rough idea of build size and complexity, piece counts on those range from 220 to 330.
The post from Brick Tap News also confirms the January 2027 release of a set based on Batman Returns, which will retail for $60 and include both the Batmobile and the Penguin’s duck-shaped vehicle. Brick Tap has a reliable reputation in the LEGO community, so although leaks can never be guaranteed, these are unlikely to be inaccurate.
Batmobiles are essentially LEGO’s bread-and-butter for superhero set releases, so it’s not that surprising that *Arkham Knight *would eventually join the lineup. Even so, this should be an exciting one for fans of the games, and the $30 price point should make it equally accessible for kids who simply want a cool Batman vehicle.
Oddly enough, LEGO is essentially the primary entity carrying the *Batman: Arkham *torch at the moment. The recent release of *LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight *delivered an obviously Arkham-inspired video game experience, and it’s received plenty of love from fans so far.
*Batman: Arkham *developer Rocksteady is also reportedly working on a new game, but without any official announcement, it might be better to focus on the birds in hand. Even if it’s a little blocky, seeing the *Arkham Knight *Batmobile again once more will be a pleasure.
