The top 3 shows to watch on Netflix this weekend, June 12–14, 2026, include two of the most popular series on the platform and an upcoming viral hit. While last weekend’s best shows to watch on Netflix, such as Michael Jackson: The Verdict and The Witness, remain must-watch streaming options still trending worldwide, these three shows offer something new this weekend for Netflix subscribers.
Other Netflix series trending right now include Sweet Magnolias, which just returned for its fifth season earlier this week, as well as My Family season 2, an Italian dramedy series that cleverly deals with heavy topics such as grief. Even though there aren’t too many new streaming options on Netflix this weekend, these three shows will be all that viewers need to stay entertained from now through Sunday.
Outlast: The Jungle is currently one of the most-watched shows on Netflix after making its debut on Wednesday, June 10. As the third season of the popular Netflix original reality competition series Outlast, this latest installment takes contestants deep into the tropical rainforests of Panama. The series consists of eight total episodes, six of which are available to stream right now, with the remaining two episodes set to drop on Wednesday, June 17.
At the time of writing, Outlast: The Jungle ranks #4 on Netflix’s worldwide and U.S. streaming charts, setting itself up nicely to have a promising weekend viewership bump after a strong two-day debut. The stakes in Outlast: The Jungle could not be higher, as 16 contestants must fight to survive for 45 consecutive days in the Panama rainforests for their chance to take home a $1 million prize. Each of its six available episodes is between 48 and 58 minutes long, which is ideal for a weekend binge.
*Shrill is an overlooked Hulu series that has found new streaming life on Netflix in the United States this week. Starring and co-created by former Saturday Night Live cast member Aidy Bryant, Shrill *runs for a total of 22 episodes across three seasons. The series follows Bryant’s Annie Easton, an aspiring journalist who ends up pregnant after a “morning-after” pill fails her. Annie must decide how to move forward with her hook-up buddy, unsure if either of them is ready for parenthood.
*Shrill *earned a strong 88% Rotten Tomatoes score and is generally favored by viewers, as evidenced by its RT audience score of 65%. At the time of writing, it has surged into Netflix’s Top 10 Shows in the United States and looks to hold onto that rank throughout its debut weekend on Netflix. If you enjoyed the new Apple TV series Margo’s Got Money Troubles, then Shrill might just be the perfect replacement this weekend.
With season 3 arriving next week on Tuesday, June 16, now is the perfect time to dive into America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on Netflix. The celebrated documentary series shines a light on one of the most storied professional cheerleading organizations in the world, the Dallas Cowboys, taking viewers behind the scenes of all the hard work and preparation required to make the highly competitive squad and make it through the entire NFL season.
Netflix just added the fourth and final season of a beloved sci-fi series with a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score that’s built for a weekend binge.
America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders earned an Emmy nomination in 2025 for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score for its first season. As one of Netflix’s most successful unscripted reality TV series, season 3 is expected to make America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders a streaming hit once again next week when seven new episodes hit the platform. Until then, binge-watching the first two seasons this weekend is one of the best choices viewers can make right now on Netflix.
