**Jennifer Lopez is back to conquering the Netflix charts, this time alongside Brett Goldstein in the new rom-com, Office Romance. Released on June 5, 2026, the film follows an airline CEO whose rigid anti-fraternization policy is put to the test by a new lawyer. We’ve now got the first week data and the top 10 data that’s been coming in since its release, so how does it stack up against other 2026 premieres, titles in the same genre, and against Jennifer Lopez’s previous works? **
First of all, let’s go through the numbers and the daily top 10s. Per Netflix, Office Romance topped the charts for June 1st through June 7th, with the movie clocking in with 40.1M hours watched, equating to 20.9M views.
According to the latest daily Top 10 data from FlixPatrol, Office Romance has quickly established dominance across the globe. Here’s how the global points have evolved over its first four tracked days on the service:
-
Day 1: 823 points (65 #1 placements)
-
Day 2: 890 points (74 #1 placements)
-
Day 3: 899 points (77 #1 placements)
-
Day 4: 898 points (76 #1 placements)
With the worldwide average ranking dropping from an already strong 1.8 down to an incredibly dominant 1.3, the film is showing top-tier holding power through its opening weekend.
Regional Highlights: The West vs. Asia
As is typical with mainstream American rom-coms, the English-speaking world and Europe latched on immediately, while Asian markets are showing a slightly slower burn.
-
The United States: Unsurprisingly, the film debuted at #1 and hasn’t budged.
-
The United Kingdom: Saw a brief start at #2 before surging to #1 for the remainder of the weekend.
-
Europe & LATAM: Major markets are fully on board. France, Germany, and Brazil have mirrored the US with straight #1s across the board. Mexico has also been highly consistent, though it is currently blocked from the top spot, holding steady at #2 for all four days.
The adoption curve in the Asia-Pacific region is looking a bit softer, though it is still charting healthily and climbing:
-
India: Debuted at #8 and leveled out at #5.
-
South Korea: Missed the Top 10 entirely on day one, but has since climbed to #4.
-
Japan: Similar to South Korea, it failed to chart on day one but is currently sitting at #7
Office Romance vs Other 2026 Premieres
Let’s first stack it up against some of 2026’s other movie premieres, which all premiered on Fridays. Looking at the first three days, it ranks above fellow rom-com People We Meet on Vacation but below the action movies The Rip, War Machine, Apex, and even Peaky Blinders; The Immortal Man, which shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, given that action is traditionally stronger out of the gate.
