Welcome to this week’s Netflix Top 10 report. We’ll warn you upfront: if you’re looking for record-breaking debuts and massive renewals, you won’t find them here. Between steep viewership drops for returning series and surprising no-shows for high-profile releases, it’s been a decidedly rough week for Netflix across the board. The few silver linings come from movie holdovers like APEX and Swapped, alongside K-Pop Demon Hunters, which is celebrating its 50th week in the global top 10s and looks poised to hit a full year. Let’s dive into the disappointing data.
Let’s start with the no-shows. The Untold UK collection continued its struggling streak, with Untold UK: Vinnie Jones following in prior weeks’ footsteps by failing to chart. The animated title My 2 Cents from Italy also missed the global top 10s, as did the documentary Room to Move.
Bad Thoughts season 2, featuring Tom Segura, also didn’t make the top 10 despite having a full week to pick up views, suggesting it garnered fewer than 1.8M views. That shouldn’t be too surprising, given the series was dropped with virtually no buildup this time around. Season 1, which launched on a Tuesday, picked up 3.8M views in its opening week. This points to a viewership drop of at least 52%, though it’s likely much higher.
One title we’ll mention here but can’t include a graph for is Instadocs: Alex Murdaugh, Unconvicted, which debuted with 3.4M views. Netflix placed this in the TV chart despite it being a single episode, making it difficult to find a direct comparison.
1. A Big Week For Sports Programming?
Last week marked the beginning of Netflix’s latest sports push, kicking off a roster of programming from around the world scheduled in the run-up to the World Cup.
Brazil ’70: The Third Star was far and away the biggest new release in this category, yet it’s a complete no-show, suggesting it secured fewer than 1M views in its opening week. Compare that to Senna, Netflix’s last big title from the region, which picked up 2.6M views in week one and then rocketed 124% in week two to 5.8M views.
Emi Martínez: The Kid Who Stops Time did manage to crack the top 10 charts, though it posted a modest start with 1.8M views. This ranks it third when compared to other recent celebrity and sport-focused documentaries from the region:

Emi Martínez: The Kid Who Stops Time 1,800,000 3
Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta 1,500,000 4
On the tennis side of things, Rafa dropped on Friday. Because direct comparisons are scarce (we couldn’t find similar recent European sports docs), we’ve stacked it against various recent Spanish docu-series. This includes true crime, which traditionally dominates the genre—a fact the chart below undoubtedly proves.

2. The Boroughs Heading for Cancelation?
The Boroughs had a pretty slow start in week one but found some momentum in week two, growing its viewing hours by 68%. Stacked up against shows from recent years—particularly other higher-budget titles—you can see it’s in some uncomfortable company with the likes of PULSE, Obliterated, and The Abandons. Fingers crossed that some of the internal data we don’t get to see is pointing in the right direction; otherwise, the planned three-season arc may never become a reality.

3. The Four Seasons Suffers 63% Drop in Week 1
Comedy series have had a rough time lately, with many struggling to retain their audiences from season to season (though Nobody Wants This remains a shining example of a series that can hold its viewership). The Four Seasons falls at the more extreme end of the spectrum, suffering a 63% decline in views. Does this guarantee it won’t get a season 3 renewal? Not necessarily.
For context, here is a reminder of some other season-to-season drops for comedies in the past year or so:
-
Nobody Wants This S1 to S2 – 16% drop (was renewed)
-
Tires S1 to S2 – 26% drop (was renewed)
-
Running Point S1 to S2 – 43% drop (was renewed)
-
Survival of the Thickest S1 to S2 – >56% drop (didn’t feature at all in the weekly top 10s, hence minimum percentage – was renewed)
-
Beef S1 to S2 – 58% drop (future unclear)
-
A Man on the Inside S1 to S2 – >66% drop (didn’t feature at all in the weekly top 10s, hence minimum percentage – was renewed)

4. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 Posts Near 80% Decline
Cr. NETFLIX © 2026
Emma Myers was back as Pip for the second season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and boy, did it see a steep decline. Season 2 launched on a Wednesday, whereas Season 1 launched on a Thursday, giving the new season an extra day to pick up viewing hours in its opening week through Sunday. Despite this advantage, it’s a very, very slow start, pulling in just 8.7M viewing hours and 1.8M views.
Looking at the raw numbers, that’s a 75% drop in viewership. However, when you account for the extra day on the platform, the actual decline is likely closer to 80%.

A Movie Check-In As War Machine Enters All-Time Top 10
As we predicted, Alan Ritchson’s War Machine did in fact enter the all-time top 10 list, pushing out Damsel. However, there are a few other movies that could soon unseat it. APEX looks like a strong contender, and even Swapped has a shot if it can maintain its solid decay rate.
Elsewhere, Ladies First is currently tracking almost exactly alongside the viewership curve of Remarkably Bright Creatures.

A Series Check-In With Man on Fire and Nemesis
Two series that still have a decent shot at securing season 2 renewals are* Man on Fire* and *Nemesis. *Both are quite high-budget and are tracking similarly to what *The Diplomat *did a few years back. However, they are also pacing alarmingly close to The Waterfront, which currently holds the record as one of the most-watched cancellations in recent Netflix history. Fingers crossed both survive.
