If you’re looking for Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders, you’re probably trying to get your expedition prepared for departure. This is a common resource needed for preparation for the reset, and it’s perfectly reasonable to feel like you’re struggling to find some. That’s because Cooling Coils are primarily found in a specific type of spot on a map in Arc Raiders.
Getting together a collection of Cooling Coils will take a bit of time and effort, but knowing where to look can help to speed things up a bit, obviously. Lucky for you, that’s what we’re here for. Below is everything you need to know about where to find Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders.
Cooling Coils can most commonly be found in locations on a map labeled “Industrial.” These areas contain other popular resources that are used for expeditions and workbench upgrades, so you may be able to knock out two birds with one stone, depending on what you’ve accomplished thus far.
There are Industrial locations on every map, but for the sake of this guide, we’re going to stick with Dam Battlegrounds, as it’s where we’ve had the most luck tracking down Cooling Coils. The main locations for Cooling Coils on Dam Battlegrounds include the following POIs, which are also circled on the map above.
Be thorough in your exploration of these areas, being especially certain to check every red locker, which seems to have a particularly good chance of spawning Cooling Coils. Also note that, while Hydroponic Dome Complex seems to have a higher overall spawn rate for this item, it’s also likely to be the most dangerous area due to having a lot of ARC and other players patrolling the area. We’ve found that prioritizing the red lockers at Water Treatment Control is often among the safest choices if you spawn reasonably close to that POI.
