ABC Developing New “Holding Court” Series
ABC is developing a brand-new comedy-drama series called “Holding Court”, which follows a brilliant, stubborn yet book-smart paralegal who teams up with a charismatic, street-smart attorney who barely passed the bar to help run her father’s law firm after his death.
The new series is being developed by Alfredo Barrios Jr, who previously worked on “Hotel Cocaine”, and is executive produced by Ross Fineman of Fineman Entertainment, who recently worked on Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer” and the hit ABC series, “Big Sky.
According to Deadline, this new series is similar to “Moonlighting”, with a woman owning a law firm and partnering with a charismatic guy to run it.
No other details on this project have been revealed, such as who might star in it or when it might be released on ABC and Hulu/Disney+. As with all projects in development, things can still change both from a creative side and whether the project will eventually even reach our screens.
