StudioCanal has secured international sales rights to Guillermo del Toro‘s Oscar-winning Pan’s Labyrinth.
It comes as *Pan’s Labyrinth *returns to the Cannes Film Festival nearly twenty years after its historic reception in 2006. The masterpiece became del Toro’s first Academy Award-nominated film, with six nominations, including best original screenplay and best foreign language film.
It went on to nab three Oscars (for best cinematography, best production design and best makeup design), and won over 100 international awards, including three BAFTAs and seven Goyas.
