A new Cyberpunk 2077 compilation album is on its way, and with it, an assortment of new Cyberpunk merch. Beloved by many but often overlooked, Cyberpunk’s soundtrack is easily one of its strongest aspects. Featuring an assortment of songs by real-life artists, in addition to collaborations with the fictional artists and bands that color in Night City’s lore, it’s an immersive and atmospheric companion to a richly detailed world.
Cyberpunk has already put out several soundtrack releases containing tracks from its score and its radio music, but a new compilation album is going all-in on the cool factor. Future Sound of Night City is an upcoming album by We Release Whatever The F**k We Want Records (WRWTFWW) featuring a compilation of music from Cyberpunk’s in-game radio stations, and it’s dropping alongside some incredible merch.
Future Sound of Night City focuses on “Polish beats” from Cyberpunk 2077; it’s curated by Polish artists Rafał Grobel and Wojciech Sokół. It features 22 tracks (listed on WRWTFWW’s Bandcamp) of music, and can be purchased in a three-vinyl set, a CD, or digital download formats.
The three-vinyl set is pressed in bright yellow, and comes in a sleeve featuring art of a body wired up with tons of cybernetic tech. The reverse side includes a print of a yellow-tinted vista of Night City.
Along with its tie-in merch, *Future Sound of Night City *is currently available for preorder, with shipping expected to begin in early June. The three-LP set goes for about $53; there may also be significant shipping costs if you’re outside the EU. Otherwise, you can pick up the digital album for about $12.
Coming out at the same time are two new pieces of Cyberpunk tie-in merch, beginning with an All Foods hat. Depicting the bold, red and yellow logo of the fictional prepared foods brand, printed on a bright blue trucker cap, it’s a little bit of ironic Cyberpunk fashion come to life.
In addition, you can also grab an Arasaka corporation hoodie, which comes in three colors: red, black, and gray. It features the Arasaka name down one of the sleeves, with a large Arasaka logo printed on the back. Like the album, all of the above are currently available for preorder with shipping expected to begin in June.
It may not be the Cyberpunk sequel news we’ve all been waiting for, but it’s a cool release, and a great way to pass the time. Whether you’re interested in collecting the full, physical LP set, or just want to enjoy the music, Future Sound of Night City is a great way to immerse yourself even further in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
