It’s been an exciting year for Elden Ring fans so far, with the movie from A24 and Alex Garland getting an official release date for March 2028 after beginning filming this month, not to mention the highly anticipated upcoming release of the Tarnished Edition, which could launch any day now. Further, Elden Ring Nightreign gamers have their hands full with the new Forsaken Hollows DLC, with future expansions likely in the cards.
Beyond these official developments, there’s a burning question as to what’s next for the franchise and whether we’ll ever see Elden Ring 2. While a sequel seems possible at some point in the future, developers at FromSoftware clearly have their hands full with upcoming projects like the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, The Duskbloods.
To top all that off, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware, in collaboration with Gecco, have officially unveiled a new Elden Ring release for winter 2026, available to preorder now—but fans will want to hold on to their wallets (via X).
Earlier last week, Bandai Namco officially unveiled a brand-new Elden Ring collectible statue featuring the Raging Wolf armor set from the original game. The stunning new statue is available for preorder now and expected to ship in winter 2026, but it’s going to cost collectors a small fortune if they want to claim one of these limited-edition statues. It’s currently listed for a whopping $470 USD on Gecco and the official Bandai Namco storefront.
Despite the high price tag, the statue is a sight to behold and will surely not disappoint fans looking to take their collection to the next level:
*“Under the complete supervision of FromSoftware, every detail has been faithfully recreated with expert sculpting and painting, from the hard texture of the metal armor and the realistic wear of the leather to the scars and stains that tell the story of many fierce battles.” *
Sculpted by Shinya Yamaoka with detailing by Katsushige Akeyama, the 1/6 scale Raging Wolf statue comes on a highly detailed base designed to emulate “the stone pavement leading to Stormveil Castle,” and you can take a closer look below.
Earlier this month, there were multiple exciting developments on the Elden Ring front, with the Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2 officially opening up preorder sales and the A24 film getting an official release date for 2028. Additionally, recent leaked images and behind-the-scenes footage of Alex Garland’s movie adaptation have resulted in a wave of speculation among players.
Details revealed in the set images include Queen Marika’s new live-action look, the Dung Eater’s execution, and various familiar locations from the game such as the Church of Marika and Leyndell. While the leaked pre-production images aren’t necessarily an exact depiction of what we’ll see on screen eventually, they definitely have given Elden Ring fans a lot to chew on as they count down to March 2028.
