Xbox Game Pass has had an absolutely fantastic 2026 so far. Whether you’re a fan of massive RPGs, open-world games, interesting indies, or anything in between, Game Pass has kept the monthly titles coming thick and fast. Now, I’m delighted to confirm that Game Pass is adding one of the very best video games of 2025, and it’s a game that didn’t get nearly enough love when it released.
I get it. 2025 was a stacked year for video games. *Hollow Knight: Silksong *finally released, *Clair Obscur *dominated the conversation, and *Blue Prince *was rightly crowned the best indie game in years. But there was one very small, very weird game released via Steam in September last year that deserves your attention. The good news is it’s coming to Xbox, and will be free via Xbox Game Pass.
*Easy Delivery Co. *is not a big game. I played through on my Steam Deck one rainy Sunday back in October and finished it in one sitting. That’s not a bad thing, mind you. This strange, vaguely unsettling delivery sim marries PS1-era horror aesthetics with an Animal Crossing-esque cast of characters, and you have to play it for yourself to get what makes it work so well.
The aim of *Easy Delivery Co. *is to drive around in a truck handing out various packages to the residents of a strange, liminal world coated in thick white fog and relentless snow. It’s a semi-open world in which multiple towns are connected by thin, dark stretches of road that snake through mountains, forests, and rivers. As you drive, your only real company is a radio that plays grainy music interspersed with indistinct chatter. Playing *Easy Delivery Co. *feels like being awake at 3am, when everything is still and nothing makes quite as much sense as it did in the light of day.
As you give out your deliveries, you’ll earn money, which can be used to top of your fuel, buy snacks for stamina, and eventually upgrade your truck to handle trickier roads. There’s a very strange story running underneath the whole thing, but I don’t want to spoil that for you. This is a game you have to discover on your own time.
*Easy Delivery Co. *has a very well-earned Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam, so the fact it’s finally coming to consoles (it’s being added to PS5 as well as Xbox), should get you seriously excited.
*Easy Delivery Co. *is available via Xbox Game Pass from today (March 26) and I am begging you to play it if you have a subscription. This is a game you can beat in a few hours if you want, but you can all savor your time in this strange, static world, taking on deliveries for vacant NPCs that aren’t quite there. Please, don’t miss out on one of 2025’s very best hidden gems.
