“IMPACT x Nightline: Edge of Death: Three Ways to Kill” Coming Soon To Hulu & Disney+

March 26, 2026 Roger Palmer

Disney has announced details on an upcoming episode of “IMPACT x Nightline” called “Edge of Death: Three Ways to Kill”, which will be coming soon to Hulu and Disney+ in the United States.

After a seemingly picture-perfect marriage between an anesthesiologist and a nuclear engineer shatters on a scenic trail in Hawaii, “IMPACT x Nightline” examines one of the state’s most harrowing cases. When two hikers discover the young wife bloodied and injured, the shocking incident sparks a high-stakes investigation — and a courtroom battle that raises more questions than answers. With her husband now on trial for attempted murder, the case hinges on a critical mystery: Was this a brutal, unprovoked attack fueled by jealousy or a violent encounter where she struck first? As both sides present starkly different versions of the events, “IMPACT x Nightline” explores the truth behind a marriage unraveled.

The episode features an exclusive interview with Dr. Jonathan Waters, former chief of Anesthesia Services at UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital, who says he was a mentor during the husband’s residency at UPMC.

New interviews include the following:

  • Dan Abrams, ABC News chief legal analyst

  • Brian Buckmire, ABC News legal analyst

  • Ana Garcia, host, “True Crime News” podcast

  • Cynthia Yip, journalist

  • Sunny Hostin, co-host of “The View” and former federal prosecutor

  • Nancy Grace, host, “Crime Stories with Nancy Grace”

  • Elizabeth Millner, host, “Inside the Crime” podcast

  • Annie Elise, host, “Serialously” Podcast

Now in its fourth season, ABC News Studios’ award-winning streaming newsmagazine “IMPACT x Nightline” investigates the topics dominating American culture, stories in the zeitgeist, and conversations around the globe. Eman Varoqua is the executive producer.

“IMPACT x Nightline: Edge of Death: Three Ways to Kill” will be released on Thursday, 26th March 2026, on Disney+ and Hulu.
