An (almost) complete look ahead at what’s coming up on Netflix US in April.

**Welcome to your early look at what’s coming to Netflix in April 2026! Spring is officially in full swing, and Netflix is gearing up to deliver a massive month packed with high-stakes drama, star-studded comedies, and highly anticipated returning favorites. **

While we’re still expecting plenty more announcements to trickle in over the coming weeks, this preliminary roster already boasts some serious heavy hitters. Get ready for the return of Emmy-sweeping hits like *Beef *(Season 2) and the YA favorite XO, Kitty (Season 3), an animated nostalgic trip back to Hawkins in Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, and huge blockbuster swings like Charlize Theron’s action-thriller Apex and Emma Stone’s sci-fi dark comedy Bugonia. Throw in a massive live boxing clash (Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov) and the streaming arrival of NBC’s hit sitcom St. Denis Medical, and April is already shaping up to be a month you won’t want to miss.

As always, while this list covers all the newcomers for the month, we’re also expecting lots of removals in April 2026, and we’re tracking those at the link provided.

  • Dandelion (2026) Netflix Original – Based on the manga by Hideaki Sorachi, this supernatural comedy anime follows a 1-shot story involving spirits and quirky investigators.

  • Full Swing (Season 4) Netflix Original – Golfing docu-series.

  • The Travellers (2025) – A successful stage designer (Luke Bracey) returns to his small Australian hometown to say goodbye to his dying mother, only to have the quick trip descend into a chaotic and emotional navigation of family responsibilities and past lovers.

What’s Coming to Netflix on April 1st

  • Black and Blue (2019) – Naomie Harris and Tyrese Gibson headline this action cop drama about corrupt officers who commit a murder on tape, and their loyalties are subsequently tested.

  • Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) – Rami Malek delivers an Oscar-winning performance in this foot-stomping biopic that follows the meteoric rise of Queen and the extraordinary life of frontman Freddie Mercury.

  • Dorohedoro (Season 2 – New Episodes Weekly) – Anime series returns for brand new episodes.

  • Eat Pray Bark (2026) Netflix Original – In this Alpine-set comedy, five eccentric dog owners head to a training camp for their unruly pets, only to discover that they are the ones who actually need the coaching.

  • Giving Hope: The Ni’Cola Mitchell Story (2023) – Lifetime movie – Tatyana Ali stars in this biopic on Ni’Cola Mitchell, a victim of unspeakable sexual violence who grew up to be a best-selling author and inspirational speaker.

  • Happy’s Place (Season 1) – Reba McEntire stars as a woman who inherits her father’s tavern, only to discover she has a half-sister she never knew — and a new business partner she’ll have to learn to work with.

  • It Takes a Village (2026) Netflix Original – Polish romantic comedy film. When financial trouble forces Halina to call off her wedding, her friends and family decide to hatch a wild plan to bring in tourist money.

  • Love on the Spectrum (Season 4) Netflix Original – Latest season of the award-winning dating reality series.

  • Madagascar (2005) – When four pampered animals from the Central Park Zoo are shipwrecked on the island of Madagascar, they must learn to survive in the wild with the help of some eccentric locals.

  • Sarah Millican: Late Bloomer (2026) Netflix Original – British stand-up comedy special.

  • St. Denis Medical (Season 1) – This mockumentary-style workplace comedy follows the overworked doctors and nurses at an underfunded Oregon hospital as they do their best to treat patients and maintain their own sanity.

  • The Giant Falls (2025) Netflix Original – Argentinian drama. When his long-lost father resurfaces, a tour guide must navigate old wounds and confront a choice that will define both of their futures.

  • Toriko x One Piece: Special Collaboration Episode (2011) – Anime special.

  • Agent from Above (Season 1) Netflix Original – This Taiwanese fantasy action series follows a former criminal-turned-spirit medium who must atone for a childhood mistake by battling demons to protect the mortal world.

  • The Ramparts of Ice (Season 1) **Netflix Original **– Based on the popular manga, this coming-of-age anime follows a reclusive high school student who begins to step out of her emotional shell when three persistent schoolmates enter her life.

  • **Sins of Kujo (Season 1) Netflix Original ** – A notorious lawyer who specializes in defending the most dangerous and morally ambiguous criminals forces a young elite attorney to question the true meaning of justice.

  • The Bad Guys: The Series (Season 2) **Netflix Original **– The heist-loving crew of reformed outlaws is back for more animated adventures as they try to keep their “Good Guy” status while tackling new missions.

  • **XO, Kitty (Season 3) Netflix Original ** – Kitty Song Covey returns to KISS in Seoul for her senior year, facing new romantic entanglements and big life decisions in the latest season of the YA spinoff.

  • Bloodhounds (Season 2) – The hard-hitting Korean action series returns as the young boxers-turned-vigilantes take on a new, even more ruthless criminal organization.

  • Feel My Voice (2026) Netflix Original – In this moving Italian drama, a teenager raised in a deaf family discovers she has a gifted singing voice, leading to a heart-wrenching choice between her family’s needs and her own musical dreams.

  • Gangs of Galicia (Season 2) Netflix Original – The Spanish crime drama returns to follow the Padín family as they attempt to maintain their grip on the drug trade while facing internal betrayals and intense police scrutiny.

  • High Tides (Season 3) Netflix Original – In the final season of this Belgian drama, the group of wealthy teens must face the ultimate consequences of the secrets and lies that began on the coast of Knokke.

  • Maamla Legal Hai (Season 2) Netflix Original – Indian legal comedy drama series.

  • The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson (2026) Netflix Original – True-crime documentary on the pro-cyclist Moriah Wilson who was shockingly murdered.

What’s Coming to Netflix on April 4th

  • Merrily We Roll Along (2025) – Filmed live at the Hudson Theatre, this Tony Award-winning Broadway revival stars Jonathan Groff, Daniel Radcliffe, and Lindsay Mendez. Directed by Maria Friedman, the Stephen Sondheim musical tells the story of three lifelong friends in reverse chronological order, tracing their lives from disillusioned adulthood back to their hopeful beginnings.

What’s Coming to Netflix on April 5th

  • A Day to Die (2022) – After his wife is kidnapped by a ruthless gang leader, a disgraced parole officer (Kevin Dillon) must reunite with his old military ops crew to pull off a series of dangerous heists in 12 hours to pay a $2 million ransom. Also starring Bruce Willis and Frank Grillo.

  • Falling (2020) – In his directorial debut, Viggo Mortensen stars alongside a powerhouse Lance Henriksen. The drama follows a conservative, homophobic father who begins to exhibit symptoms of dementia, forcing him to sell the family farm and move to Los Angeles to live with his gay son and his husband.

  • Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) – Four teenagers are sucked into a magical video game, and the only way they can escape is to work together to finish the game, all while inhabiting avatars that are the polar opposite of their real-life selves. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan.

  • India Sweets and Spices (2021) – Indie-comedy about a college student returning to her Indian-American suburb, juggling nosy aunties, a risky summer fling and secrets that undo her family’s perfect facade. Starring Sophia Taylor Ali.

  • Beast (2022) – Idris Elba headlines this survival thriller about a widowed doctor and his teenage daughters, who are pursued by a ferocious lion, turning their South African vacation into a disaster.

  • 18th Rose (2026) Netflix Original – Set in the early 2000s, this Filipino rom-com follows a spirited teen who makes a deal with a lonely newcomer to help her achieve the perfect debut, only for real feelings to complicate their plan.

  • Big Mistakes (Season 1) Netflix Original – Dan Levy is back with a brand new series.

  • Benedetta (2021) – From visionary director Paul Verhoeven, this provocative historical drama follows a 17th-century nun in Tuscany who believes she has a direct link to Jesus. As she begins to experience shocking religious visions and displays the stigmata, she enters into a forbidden affair with a fellow nun that threatens to upend the church hierarchy.

  • IF (2024) – Ryan Reynolds and Cailey Fleming star in this heartwarming fantasy comedy from director John Krasinski, following a young girl who discovers she can see forgotten imaginary friends and sets out on a magical adventure to reconnect them with their original kids.

  • Ronaldinho: The One and Only (Limited Series) Netflix Original – Brazilian soccer star is at the center of this new docu-series arriving just in time for the World Cup.

  • Roommates (2026) Netflix Original – One of two movies coming up in 2026 from the Sandler sisters. When a hopeful, naive college freshman, Devon, asks the cool and confident Celeste to be her roommate, a blossoming friendship spirals into a war of passive aggression.

  • Wrinkles the Clown (2019) – This eerie documentary pulls back the mask on the viral phenomenon of a “clown-for-hire” in Naples, Florida, whom parents allegedly paid to scare their misbehaving children.   • Man on Fire (Season 1) Netflix Original – Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as John Creasy in this book adaptation series.

Looking ahead to May, a few big titles are already lined up from Netflix’s side. They’ve got their big fight between Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano, plus Berlin season 2, and one we’re particularly looking forward to, Remarkably Bright Creatures.
