Here’s our preview of anime coming to Netflix in 2026.

With 2026 only a few short months away, it’s time to look ahead to the new year and explore all of the latest and returning anime coming to Netflix in 2026!

Please note that this list is not definitive and may include assumptions about release dates. This is a work-in-progress preview and will be updated regularly to reflect new titles.

Anime Added to Netflix in 2026 So Far

  • Pokémon Horizons: Season 3—Rising Hope- (Part 1) N – January 6.

  • Gintama (Season 1) – January 15.

  • Love Through a Prism (Season 1) N– January 15.

  • Magic Knight Rayearth (Season 1) – January 15.

  • One Piece HD Remaster – January 15.

  • Cosmic Princess Kaguya! (2026) N – January 22.

  • Baki-Dou (Season 1) N – February 26.

  • Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story (3 Seasons) – February 10

  • Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple (Season 1) – February 15

  • Beastars Final Season (Part 2) N – March 7

  • Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (Season 1) N – March 19.

Pokémon Horizons: Season 3—Rising Hope- (Part 2)

Coming to Netflix: March 20, 2026

More episodes are on the way for Pokémon Horizons as Liko and Roy continue their adventures throughout the Pokémon world.

Anime Coming to Netflix in 2026

Dorohedoro (Season 2)

Coming to Netflix: April 1, 2026

Spring 2026 will mark the end of a six-year wait for the second season of Dorohedoro!

Hole, is a district where the strong prey on the weak, and death is common in everyday life. The district has become the testing ground and cesspool for magic, where the residents are experimented on. Disgusted by the way the people of Hole are treated, Kaimon, a reptilian man, leads a personal hunt against those in power as he searches for answers.

One Piece: Elbaf Island Arc

Coming to Netflix: April 11, 2026

Once the Egghead Island Arc wraps up, the One Piece anime will move on to the Elbaph Island Arc! Since Elbaph was first mentioned over two decades ago, fans have waited an entire generation, and then some, to see the home of the Giant Warrior Pirates. It’s unclear if a long break is in store for the anime once Egghead wraps, but at the very least, we expect to see more weekly episodes of One Piece on Netflix throughout 2026.

Jujutsu Kaisen (Season 2)

Coming to Netflix: April 2026

Currently listed in the “Worth to Wait” section of the Netflix app, the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is definitely on its way to Netflix soon. One of the most popular anime in the world right now, fans went crazy for the second season, especially thanks to the events of Shibuya Station.

Devil May Cry (Season 2)

Coming to Netflix: May 12, 2026

The first season of Devil May Cry was a big hit on Netflix, and so soon after being renewed, fans will be incredibly excited to watch Dante and Virgil’s showdown in season 2.

Bass X Machina (Season 1) N

Coming to Netflix: October 6, 2026

From South Korean animation studio Studio Mir, an exciting new anime is headed to Netflix later this year. The series will feature the voice talent of Brian Tyree Henry, Janelle Monáe, Tati Gabrielle, Cree Summer, Chaske Spencer, Currie Graham, and Starlette DuPois.

“In a lawless Steampunk West overrun by brutal outlaws, machines, and supernatural terrors, a father is forced to become judge, jury, and executioner—knowing that every act of justice meant to protect his family may ultimately cost him the very people he’s fighting to save.”

Blue Box (Season 2) N

Coming to Netflix: Fall 2026

Telecom Animation Film did a wonderful job with the first season of Blue Box, and, naturally, fans are already super excited for the second season. We now have confirmation that the second season will be released in Fall 2026!

Taiki Inomata, a freshman of Eimei Senior High, is a member of the high school badminton team, is in love with Chinatsu Kano, a second-year and the ace of the girls’ basketball team.

The One Piece (Season 1) N

Coming to Netflix: 2026

TOEI Animation has been responsible for producing the One Piece anime since the 90s, but the remake of the East Blue Arc is in the hands of WIT Studio. The story will significantly reduce the runtime of Toe’s adaptation, offering fans and newcomers more engaging pacing.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (Season 2) N

Coming to Netflix: TBA

Cyberpunk Edgerunners was a great hit not only for Netflix but also for the Cyberpunk Game, helping to revitalise the game, which had a poor start at launch, but has since become one of the best video games of its generation. It’s unclear whether the second season will continue the story of Edgerunners or introduce a brand new cast of colourful characters.

Let’s hope the second season won’t traumatize fans as much as the first!

The Summer Hikaru Died (Season 2) N

Coming to Netflix: TBA

After a fantastic first season, it took barely a day before CygamesPictures announced production for the second season of The Summer Hikaru Died. We’re not sure when the second season will land on Netflix, but we are hopeful for a 2026 release.

Two best friends living in a rural Japanese village: Yoshiki and Hikaru. Growing up together, they were inseparable… until the day Hikaru came back from the mountains, and was no longer himself. “Something” has taken over Hikaru’s body, memories, feelings… and everything they know begins to unravel.

Sakamoto Days (Season 2) N

Coming to Netflix: TBA

Sakamoto Days has yet to be renewed for a second season, but we expect to hear of a renewal sooner rather than later! The series, much like Dan Da Dan, has been an extremely popular addition to the Netflix library, and continues Netflix’s effort to bring more weekly anime content to the streaming service.

Coming to Netflix Beyond 2026

Dan Da Dan (Season 3)

Coming to Netflix: 2027

Dan Dan has been one of the most popular anime titles on Netflix over the past year, having been watched by millions worldwide. Science Saru has done an incredible job with the anime so far, and fans can look forward to the adaptation of the Space Globalists Arc

The series is centered on two high school students, Momo and Okarun. Momo, who believes in ghosts, and Okarun, who believes in aliens, each deny the existence of the other, that is, until one fateful night on a dare, when Okarun has a run-in with a malicious spirit and Momo with over-inquisitive aliens, the pair find themselves stepping into the world of the paranormal and supernatural.
